Thiksay Monastery (Gompa) is a monastery belonging to the Gelug sect of Tibetan Buddhism. It is located on top of a hill in the village of Thiksey village in Leh district which belongs to the Ladakh region in India. 
This is one of the most scenic and serene monasteries in the world. I had a divine experience while meditating inside this monastery and felt a kind of calmness and bliss that cannot be explained in words. I would recommend all spiritual adventurers to visit this serene monastery and spend some time meditating in their meditation hall.
